Position Description:
The Claims Supervisory will engage with the team a great deal. Each morning you will have 10 minute team huddles where you will set forth expectations for the team. During the day you will touch base with each of the employees. You will do research on complicated issues, problems, and processes. You will coach and mentor the staff, remove barriers, and enable the staff to meet productivity and quality goals. You will manage a team of 25-30 and share responsibilities of this client with two other supervisors; must be a team player and promote team spirit.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 2 years leading operations in quality and production for a healthcare insurance company - required
  • Direct Report experience performing interviews, coaching and firing 2 years - required
  • Microsoft Word and Excel; must be able to create worksheets, be able to cut and paste and with formulas and formatting -required
  • 2 years Claims Inventory Control- required
  • 2 years experience working with CPT and ICD9 coding - required
  • High School diploma/GED - required
  • Microsoft PowerPoint, Access and Outlook - preferred
