DIRECTOR OF PHARMACY
SIERRA VISTA REGIONAL HEALTH CENTER
SIERRA VISTA, AZ
$150,000 salary + $30,000 sign-on bonus
Highly regarded hospital in a beautiful setting! Sierra Vista Regional Health Center in Sierra Vista, AZ is a technologically advanced 86-bed hospital, serving Southeastern Arizona and Cochise County. Nestled at the base of the Huachuca Mountains, the community of Sierra Vista holds the perfect year round climate. Located at approximately 4600 feet, the climate is ideal with cool winters and pleasant summers.
Decentralized clinical pharmacy with advanced technology, PT involvement, and direct patient care. Remote order entry for after hours. Recent Joint Commission review with no recommendations or deficiencies.
Support to succeed in the job. As Director of Pharmacy with CPS, you will have a full support team of CPS pharmacy experts available to you. From a Regional VP, Regional Clinical Director, 340B Specialist, Regulatory Specialist, Drug Information Specialist, other Directors and more. We’ll rely on you to oversee all pharmacy operations including planning, organizing, controlling and supervising activities in the hospital pharmacy according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and State and Federal laws. You’ll recommend innovations in the practice and function of the hospital pharmacy to Administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs.
Required Qualifications.
-BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
-Arizona pharmacist license in good standing.
-7-10 years of experience as a pharmacist in a hospital pharmacy.
-2+ years experience as Director in a 50+bed hospital. Experience must be within the last 5 years.
You’ll need the ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns in addition to the ability to work cooperatively with other members of Comprehensive Pharmacy Services and hospital and pharmacy staff.
