The Job/What You'll Do:

The CRN Development Support Specialist provides initial and ongoing mentoring and developmental support to the Crisis Contact Center. In addition, the Development Support Specialist will adapt coaching styles and methods to individual learning styles and individual needs. The position will be a combination of remote and in-person training.

Responsibilities:

  • With the support of the CRN Leadership, develop and deliver training and mentoring specific to their designated program
  • Provide ongoing developmental support to new hires or employees identified to have training needs; this may include retraining in specific areas, modeling of desired skills, live and/or historic coaching, etc.
  • When not mentoring or monitoring performance, will act as a program Specialist.
  • Act as a "floater" in the Contact Center, supporting the needs of the program. May require assisting with high call volumes, answering "Ops" calls.
  • Provides concise and accurate information to teams/clinicians; maintains awareness of teams/clinicians needs and safety. Manages tracking logs accurately and timely; creates quality management and reports when business needs dictate
  • Ability to stay current with trends in suicide prevention and changes in Contact Center procedures and master responsibility specific to their program including, but not limited to procedures, processes, technology, regions, etc.
  • Willingness and eagerness to adapt to change
  • Flexible scheduling preferred
  • This position will work in collaboration with the NEO trainer
  • Responsible for training curriculum and training outcomes

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (or higher) In behavioral health, substance use or psychiatric healthcare-related field and
  • At least three (3) years of experience in a mental health or substance use field managing high-risk, high-acuity or crisis patients or members required.
  • Behavioral health professional, preferred.
  • Contact Center experience, preferred.

Work Location: Hybrid Remote- Must live within 2 hours of Denver, CO

Wireless (Wi-Fi) connection is not permitted for this position; you must be connected into your home internet modem/router with ethernet cabling (Cat5e or better - this can be provided to staff as needed)

The candidate's applicable education and experience will determine where a candidate falls in the position range.

Pay Range
$26.97-$41.25 USD

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties in the office or at a home office, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands; they must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Exposure to noise typical with office operations. Ability to hear and speak.
