JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Senior Marketing Operations Analyst at Commvault, you will play a meaningful role in supporting the marketing department's efforts by using data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and campaigns. Your responsibilities will revolve around data analysis, reporting, and providing actionable recommendations that will influence the optimization of our marketing efforts, driving business growth and improving customer engagement.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical background and a proven track record of success in defining data into valuable, actionable insights. Key responsibilities include by are not limited to the following:

Who you are...
  • Act as the Lead Analyst for the PLG (Product-Led Growth) organization, Global Campaigns and Account Based Marketing teams.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze marketing data from various sources to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to share relevant insights, highlight process bottlenecks and recommend areas of improvements.
  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards and analytics to clarify campaign or PLG performance across the buyer's journey and note insights for key partners to activate and optimize.
  • Provide regular performance reports and insights to marketing leadership to support data-driven decision-making using graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data.
  • Leverage data from various sources to identify customer segments and personas through data analysis to develop target lists and support targeted marketing programs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, data analysis methodologies, and new technologies to recommend improvements to existing analytical processes.
  • See opportunities for automation and optimization of data collection and reporting processes.
  • Other ad hoc analysis and projects as assigned.

Who you are...

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5 years of proven experience in marketing data analysis and insights generation. Experience at a software technology company or related industry is a plus.
  • 2+ years' experience in analyzing and building data dashboards for PLG (Product Led Growth) as well as ABM and campaign performance.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Proven understanding of marketing principles and familiarity with digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, etc.).
  • Strong proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, R, Excel, Tableau, etc.
  • Ability to work with large data sets to find usable information and draw insights.
  • Ability to question and trouble shoot data.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data visualization and crafting insightful reports and dashboards.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complicated findings to non-technical partners optimally.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a dedication to delivering accurate, reliable, and actionable insights.

Thank you for your interest in Commvault. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, and within the below base salary range:

$68,000 - $195,500
