Job Summary: This position is responsible for managing multiple "Buy to Buy", "Make to Buy or Buy to Make" and "Make to Make" transitions to drive business continuity projects and delivery of strategy with cost benefits, and to support factory transformation and supply base transformation.

The Transitions Senior Manager must be able to drive projects, leveraging standard process tools to lead cross-functional teams while ensuring that cross-functional partners are held accountable. The Transitions Senior Manager should leverage their project management experience to manage complex projects that require supplier-to-supplier transitions globally and core vs non-core in-sourcing / out-sourcing and meet deliverables including quality, cost, performance metrics that are set for the projects.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop Standard Transition Process to execute Sourcing and/or Factory Transitions and manage projects to meet deliverables and contribute to Integrated Supply Chain strategies - growth, sustain, and margin expansion.
  • Fully support factory re-positioning projects managing all elements of Direct Factory / Sourcing project responsibilities and ensuring all Direct Factory Sourcing deliverables are accomplished.
  • Lead cross-functional, global teams of Category Managers, Design Engineering, Product Integrators, Product Management, Supplier Development / Quality Engineering, Planning, and others, including engaging and driving suppliers, to execute as needed to achieve deliverables as set by the business, and ensure the teams identify and manage risks/opportunities.
  • Develop project plans, coordinate activities to execute the plans, and ensure all quality, delivery, and cost objectives are being met.
  • Lead weekly project meetings and take actions to drive projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project software to keep track of key milestones.
  • Meet deliverables in all phases of projects; ability to handle multiple projects in parallel.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Program Management, or Engineering; Master's preferred.
  • Five (5)+ years of experience in Manufacturing or Supply chain or Operations.
  • Experience using Project Management tools, (project plans, RAILs, reporting), Excel (Pivot tables, v-lookups, and data consolidation) and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated cross-functional team project management success leveraging project management tools.
  • Ability to lead and support several concurrent projects and develop strong relationships within cross-functional teams.
