The Sr. Specialist II, Sales Support (ProServ) will support the sales process in leading the accurate discovery and scoping of technical services for each sales opportunity. This role's deliverables directly impact the client onboarding experience and services revenue. The incumbent is a technical subject matter expert that works directly with clients to perform technical discovery, provide leadership in best practices, scope the needed solutions, and create the appropriate technical statements of work.

  • Manage complex multi-solution multi-service discovery and scoping needs for net new business and growth of existing client base to drive company revenue. Services include but not limited to Implementation, Training, Conversions, Interfaces, etc.
  • Facilitate client discovery and scoping of professional and technical services for each sales opportunity.
  • Create statements of work, project plans/timelines, services presentation slides; and present proposed solutions to clients and prospects.
  • Support technical best practices for complex issues and as a trusted technical expertise regarding NextGen Technical Consulting Services offerings, Connected Health, and/or other technical areas.
  • Provide a consultative approach to understand the client/prospect issues for resolution.
  • Develop strategic account plans and timelines on multi-year strategic initiatives that enable the adoption of NextGen solutions and services.
  • Manage requests for services, which includes following up with requesters to obtain information for any incomplete/unclear requests and assignment of cases to facilitate resolution.
  • Implement changes to the Sales Support process as part of continuous Improvement initiatives determined by Maturity Model or process Kaizens.
  • Maintain documentation and procedures to standardize processes, tools, reports, metrics to optimize the Sales Support organization.
  • Measure and reports results of VOC (Voice of the Client) feedback.
  • Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.

Education Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.

Experience Required:
  • 6+ years of experience in assessing and developing statement of work.
  • Experience supporting sales and professional services teams.
  • Experience in Healthcare, Clinical, Financial, Technical experience.
  • NextGen EHR/PM experience and/or experience with other practice management systems and workflow.

License/Certification Required:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of:Project Management, sales and professional services processes.
  • Skill in:Collaboration, working cross functionally, conflict resolution, project management, negotiations skills, time management, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to:Ability to assess the client's exact needs and create a plan to meet those needs. Meet deadlines and project goals. Ability to collaborate and partner cross functionally internally and with external clients.
