The Role:

The Sales Engineer will report to our Director of CT/OEM Sales and support growing sales in an established territory with tremendous growth potential.

You will focus on growing sales in various high-growth original equipment manufacturer (OEM) markets, such as Lab and analytical, Medical Equipment, Military and defense, Plastics, Packaging, Commercial Food, Transportation. Additionally, as a Sales Engineer you will be tasked with handling and closing large opportunities as well as managing strategic accounts.

Ideally, we are looking for candidates that are located on the East Coast region of the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Motivated and energized by the challenge of developing and securing original equipment manufacturer (OEM) accounts up to and exceeding $1M.

  • The capability to solve applications and develop standard and custom solutions to meet our customers' needs.

  • Thrives off of developing strong partnerships with customers and becoming part of their team to assist them with developing and successfully launching new products.

  • Collaborate closely with all necessary internal and external stakeholders to help drive the successful closing of deals and to help launch customers into production successfully.

  • Outstanding time management skills and an ability to manage a large, existing base business while layering in new growth opportunities.

  • Responsible for researching, organizing, and documenting competitor products and services to ensure that Chromalox maintains a competitive balance in the marketplace.


Required Experience
  • At least 3+ years of prior selling experience within related markets.

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical background is preferred.

  • Be an active partner with our customers to support their needs, empathizing to understand their challenges, pains, and opportunities.

  • Comfortable talking to all levels of customer teams, from individual contributors to C-level executives
