Responsibilities & Qualifications

In this role, you'll be the driving force behind successful construction projects, ensuring that quality and safety are at the forefront. Here's a glimpse of what you'll be doing:

  • Project Leadership: Take the reins as the company and client representative on-site, overseeing all construction work to ensure alignment with project plans and specifications.

  • Technical Expertise: Provide detailed cost estimates, review daily inspection reports, and analyze construction-related submittals and plans.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with contractors to coordinate tasks, review change orders, and ensure projects stay on schedule.

  • Documentation: Manage project documentation meticulously, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.

  • Safety First: Enforce construction safety rules and regulations to maintain a secure work environment.

  • Growth and Mentorship: Mentor and train team members, sharing your expertise in project and technical matters.

  • Communication: Foster strong relationships with agency personnel and senior staff through daily and weekly interactions.

The Qualification We Seek Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Demonstrated experience working on-site, on large construction projects may be considered as acceptable alternative experience.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Construction Manager (CM) certification preferred.

  • Extensive experience in construction engineering and inspection.

  • OSHA 30-hour safety course preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days.

  • Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.

  • High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.
