Position Description:

Initial point of contact for individuals looking to attend The Excel Center in Arizona. Inspires and delivers advisement, supports and assists all prospective students to understand the education resources offered at The Excel Center. Adapts and learns the needs of students to ensure our resources align with their education objectives. Self-starter, leader and displays attributes that are in line with a servant heart. Energized and driven by providing prospective students with "best-in-class" service that enables students to believe in themselves and achieve a high school diploma.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Delivers the highest level of service in every step of the student admissions life cycle.
  • Discusses prospective students' goals and challenges. Provides an overview of The Excel Centers offerings to assist in the success of our students.
  • Identifies the prospective students' childcare needs, transportation needs, hours of availability and motivations.
  • Schedules an in person meet and greet where the student will tour the school, meets a life coach and provides proof of age and residency.
  • Resolves students' questions and concerns throughout the enrollment process.
  • Utilizes students outreach methods such as outbound calls, emails, and text messaging to provide proactive guidance and support.
  • Effectively utilizes the call center management system statuses within our CRM platform to effectively manage contacts.
  • Works effectively as a Team Member to ensure that departmental goals are met.
  • Embraces professional development, training, and coaching opportunities and demonstrates learning in progressive improvement in skills, knowledge, and abilities in advisement role.
  • Assists in the training of new and existing Team Members.
  • Effectively utilizes reports and tracking tools to assess individual progress against key performance indicators such as student contacts, interviews, admissions application processing, completion of student retention activities, and student outreach.
  • Contributes to building a high level of team morale, trust, and mutual support within the team and department.
  • Demonstrates and promotes high ethical standards and adheres to and reinforces all regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Effectively prioritizes and manages time.
  • Exhibits a positive attitude with all students and colleagues.
  • Embraces innovation and change in a fast-paced environment and adjusts to priorities as needed.
  • Exhibits a well-developed sense of integrity and commitment to student satisfaction.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):

  • Associates' degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience in admissions/enrollment, consultative service, sales or recruiting
  • Proven track record for consistently achieving results as an individual contributor
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service
  • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication
  • Ability to speak and read English proficiently
  • Demonstrates knowledge of problem-solving, conflict resolution, and delivering customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrated proficiency in navigating through a PC and multiple software systems required
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office programs, navigating multiple software programs simultaneously and managing high volumes of phone calls and emails required
  • Ability to sit for six to eight hours
  • Excellent interpersonal skills on both an individual and group basis
  • Effective problem resolution skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and perform well under pressure
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain reliable attendance
