Transportation knowledge is a plus, but again, we've got a robust in-house developed training program to guide you in all things DOT. Duties and Responsibilities

• Proven branch management experience, preferably in the Transportation industry
• Show excitement for growing the business and managing existing customers
• Bring out the best of the branch's team by providing coaching, development and motivation
• Strong customer service skills and able to lead by example
• Experience with operations, reporting and P&L
• Must be able to multi-task and effectively manage their time
• Be familiar with driver availability and preferences
• Ability to respond in a timely, positive, and creative manner to last-minute needs of drivers and customers
• Show creative problem-solving
• Handle scheduling needs of clients as requested

Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Must be a self-starter (require minimal supervision), very organized and detail-oriented
• Ability and flexibility to identify and respond to changes in priorities
• Strong oral and written communications
• Proficient communicator and listener
• Excellent relationship-building skills
• Computer literate with a high level of proficiency in all Microsoft Applications
• Must have the ability to work in a high pressure, fast-paced environment
• Strategic planning skills, budget, and projection skills
• Transportation industry experience a plus
