We have an opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Phoenix, AZ team. You will support sustaining and VA/VE engineering on our Pool Floor Cleaning product line.

You will:

  • Enhance performance, improve quality, improve features, and reduce cost of released components and systems.
  • Develop and implement engineering test and qualification plans, DVP&R.
  • Evaluate drawings, models, datasheets, samples, and test data.
  • Work with a cross-functional team to develop and implement designs using CAD models, drawings, product cost estimates, material and product standards, bill of materials, prototyping, and testing of products.
  • Cost reduction of existing products through part design, material selection, and process improvements.
  • Support production operations as required through processing engineering change request, deviations, and manufacturing issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, operations, supply chain, finance, and all other stakeholders to identify and prioritize critical project milestones and deliverables.

Key Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3 years of engineering design experience in a high-volume production, product development environment with a focus on consumer products or appliances.
  • Well versed in the principals of GD&T.
  • Experience using engineering tools (FMEA's, DOE, DVP&R, RCCM, PLM, Risk Analysis, Statistics, etc.)
  • Experience in developing injection molded components and stamped metal parts.
  • Knowledge of CAD programs (our current program: SolidWorks).
