Work Schedule

The standard work schedule will be Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm during the Academic Year.

Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 6:00pm during the Summer Months

This position offers remote work allowing employees a combination of onsite and work from home options. The expected remote work schedule for this position will be based upon the needs of the department.

Job Summary

Provides advanced administrative office support, course support, and/or program coordination activities. Coordinates and tracks work assignments for course support. Manage inventory for course support materials and handle large volumes of outgoing mail. Coordinates textbook distribution and database.

Essential Functions

30% - Performs a wide range of technical and clerical duties including answering phones and coordinating the daily operations that support college programs, making independent decisions within established guidelines. Working with both internal and external customers.
30% - Organizing, entering, updating, and maintaining data, records, files, documentation, and reports
25% - Maintains, prepares and distributes instructional materials, monitor inventories, coordinates budget expenses and order supplies
15% - Processes high volumes of incoming and outgoing mail

Minimum Qualifications

Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two years of administrative office support or related experience providing a wide variety of secretarial, administrative office support and/or administrative coordination activities.

OR

An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.

Desired Qualifications

A. Experience coordinating an office and leading it through daily functions
B. Experience providing customer service in multiple areas including in-person, via email, and over the phone
C. MS Access database or other database experience with forms, queries, tables, importing and exporting data, merging of files into Word documents
D. Experience working in a team environment.

Special Working Conditions

May require prolonged periods of viewing a computer screen
