Job Description Summary

As a Software Accounting Trainer, you will be responsible for coaching new clients during their onboarding to correctly set up of their taxes, fees, plus trust accounting information and coach them on how to use their Streamline system effectively to stay in Trust. You will also be responsible for conducting research, performing routine calculations, general ledger reviews to identify discrepancies and opportunities and communicate these accordingly.
We are looking for a highly motivated, polished, well organized self-starter with an engaging personality who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can learn and adapt quickly.

What You'll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)

  • Attends and participates in the onboarding and transition of new clients
  • Trains new clients over Zoom to set up and use all aspects of their accounting in the system
  • Identifies misplaced and invalid data and determine a plan for correction
  • Trains on how to complete bank reconciliations
  • Works in the ticketing system to respond to tickets promptly
  • Builds and maintain relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service
  • Exhibits proven ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Troubleshoots client issues with their accounting set up
  • Writes/updates accounting related articles on our knowledgebase to provide both; internal, and external education & information
  • Analyzes and documents clients' questions and concerns and escalates problems to appropriate teams or manager
  • Proactively works to identify at-risk accounting issues
  • Collaborates cohesively with team members to identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Leads accounting webinars from time to time to train clients and/or internal staff
  • Attends all company/team meetings as needed
  • May be assigned to internal project teams as needed
  • Collaborates as a subject matter expert to assist our instructional design team create new or to update educational solutions
Qualifications

What We're Looking For (Minimum qualifications)

  • 2-4 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping
  • Experience in the Property Management Industry highly recommended
  • Experience in Excel, Word, Zoom or other video calling tools
  • Knowledge of Trust Accounting or relevant highly recommended
  • Successful experience in delivering excellent customer service
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Quick learner, detail oriented, and collaborative friendly team player
  • Professionalism and clarity in your verbal and written communication with the ability to teach customers and teammates with enthusiasm
  • Happy, friendly and approachable individual

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or comparable accounting experience
