Job Description:

Interface with the various divisions with regards to their foundry technology needs.
Responsible for being the technology interface between Microchip and a number of external Foundries for various developments.
Responsible for creation/maintenance of the all documentation (DRC, LVS, Mask Derivation document) in support of the new developments.
Responsible for assessment of Design/layout violations, and reporting those violations back to different divisions.
Responsible for evaluation of the new process modules and assessing their effectiveness on the overall goals set by Management.

Requirements/Qualifications:

B.S.E.E or similar degree (1-5 years experience), Master's Degree (2 years experience) or higher preferred
Excellent knowledge of Device Physics which should also include knowledge of EPROM, EEPROM and Flash EEPROM.
An excellent understanding of how to measure semiconductor devices using a Bench setup and extract from those measurements, parameters such as VT, breakdown,
resistivity, capacitance, Endurance, Read Currents, Write Currents, Coupling ratio, etc.
An excellent understanding of a CMOS flow is needed with an emphasis of embedded Flash technologies.
Familiarity with advance semiconductor processing, statistical analysis, and testing methods.
Process development experience for advance semiconductor technologies is preferred (90nm and below).
Good problem solving skills and the ability to work alone and in a team environment also desired.
