PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Responsible for performing survey and mapping of construction measurements and advise team members during all stages of the construction project through direct surveys and layout support.

KEY RESULT AREAS (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

• Set up and Operate Trimble GPS equipment
  • Base station
  • SCS 900 software
  • GCS 900
  • Laser level
• Care, cleaning and use surveying tools and equipment
• Perform basic surveying computation and plan reading
• Perform survey note taking
• Survey existing conditions of proposed work sites
• Guide new construction work through layout
• Verify location of structures
• Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
• All other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Ability to operate equipment including but not limited to Base Station, SCS 900, GCS 900 and laser level
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work independently
• Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum one year related construction experience
• CTS level 1 or equivalent preferred
• Current driver's license
