Job Description
Title: Workday Compensation Analyst
Location: Tempe AZ and Chicago IL (onsite 3 days per week)
Duration: 6 months Assignment
Shift/Hours: 40hours/week, 8am to 5pm

Job Summary:
The Compensation Analyst/Consultant will support the activities around design, testing and implementation of Workday Advanced Compensation leading up to and including support the Compensation Review process. This position will support and provide guidance to global compensation team and other HR teams on compensation review process, administration guidelines and reporting. This position will also work closely with Human Resource partners to ensure that recommendations and decisions are aligned to the NT overall compensation philosophy.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support the annual review cycle, including compensation planning in Workday Advanced Comp.
  • Partner with HR/Compensation stakeholders' teams to gain first-hand knowledge of their processes and synthesize knowledge into systems improvements.
  • Help maintain HR, Compensation, data integrity in the systems by running queries, analysing data, and creating and running various audits.
  • Support sandbox testing prior to launching the compensation review process in Workday.
  • Create test scenarios and assist in performing tests to ensure all processes work according to predetermined goals.
  • Manage and create documentation around system configuration, changes, support, and requirements for compliance and scale.
  • Consults on impact of decisions to operating post-implementation and downstream systems.
  • Collaborate with IT, vendors, and consultants to improve functionality through development and configuration, as the needs arise.
  • Research issues and identify the root causes; own the resolutions, communicate issues at hand, serve as liaison between internal Compensation and other HR functions.
  • Assist with system questions, problem resolution, and troubleshooting.
  • Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility
Qualifications:
Years of Experience:
  • 3+ years of Workday Comp and Advanced Comp support experience. Experience with compensation transactional data, pay for performance, calculation tables, custom reporting. Experience supporting large scale Annual Review and Compensation Review Cycles.
Education:
  • Associates
Competencies/Skills:
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical, communication and problem solving skills
  • Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation post-production support experience
  • Knowledge in merit, bonus and stock plan configuration. Initiation and administration of a compensation review process
  • Experience with compensation transactional data, pay for performance, calculation tables, custom reporting, and calculated field configuration/fixes
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
