Job Description:

MCHP Yield Enhancement Team is looking for a new addition to our Chandler, AZ Team!

The main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Support and drive device wafer sort yield and process parametric (e-test/WAT)improvement work on Microchip internal fab products.
  • Identify and implement root cause solutions to yield loss mechanisms through statistical data analysis and failure analysis techniques.
  • Participate/Lead continuous improvement projects on products and processes for improved yield, cost, and quality by teaming with the product, test, design, and process engineering groups.
  • Evaluate and monitor product test and process parametric data trends to identify issues requiring further investigation/resolution.
  • Evaluate and disposition discrepantproduction material held for yield enhancement engineering review.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • BSEE or equivalent, with 0-3 years of experience
  • Basic CMOS semiconductor process/device knowledge
  • Basic understanding of statistical data analysis, SPC, and semiconductor testing methods
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Be able to work effectively alone and in team environments as either a contributor or a leader
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills
