This position is for Exyte's ATF Semiconductor Tool Install
Engineering Group. This position will be responsible for
working with a design lead to create tool install design
packages. Responsibilities include but are not limited to
validating layouts, validating points of connection, attending
client and construction contractor design review meetings,
redlining packages, working with designers and QA/QC personnel
to complete designs, compiling meeting minutes, logging and
tracking any design constraints, tracking design change
notices. Candidates should be highly organized and detail
oriented, have excellent time management skills with a strong
work ethic. Strong written and oral communication skills are
essential. Must be a strong team player with an ability to
build effective working relationships with individuals,
department leads, and client representatives. Candidates should
be energetic and self motivated with the ability to manage
multiple tasks simultaneously, ability to resolve conflict and
solve problems which leading by example. Candidate should be
proficient in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Outlook. Basic
understanding of AutoCad and Bluebeam a plus. Semi-conductor
experience preferred but not required.
This position will be working on site at our Chandler, AZ
location.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Assists in performing engineering tasks for the design of
utilities and HVAC (wet/dry) systems for high technology
facilities including cleanrooms, general manufacturing/process
facilities and institutional facilities
- Assists in preparation of mechanical engineering
calculations in support of HVAC systems design including heat
load calculations, duct sizing, chilled water hydraulics,
static pressure calculations, equipment sizing and selection
- Assists in providing specialized technical input to studies
and design for staff's specific area of expertise
- Works closely in coordination with the project team and
other disciplines as well as other design offices
- Assists in the development of conceptual design,
preliminary design and final design documents which would
include calculations related to sizing and selecting of these
systems, the development of Process and Instrumentation
Diagrams (P&ID's), general arrangements and sequences of
operation associated with these systems
- Other duties as assigned
