Software Engineer Intern
Madison, WI
PlayStation is now hiring forward-thinking, hardworking, and talented interns for the position of Software Engineering Intern.
As an intern, you'll get exposure to real projects and challenges in a vibrant environment and gain real-world experience.
Responsibilities:
- Various web projects including the Playstation.com cart, store and wallet applications, as well as an in-house tooling application used by various applications including the PlayStation console store.
- Actively participate in sprint agile ceremonies, including stand up, grooming, retro and planning.
- Feature development and defect resolution.
Qualifications:
- Current or post-graduate (up to 1 year) student.
- Foundational knowledge of proper programming principles (object-oriented programming, functional programming, etc.).
- Proficient in at least one of these languages: JavaScript, Java, C++3).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Background in advanced mathematics, specifically statistics/data analysis, would also be considered.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and information.
