Job Overview

As an Intern in our Piezo and Ultrasound Design Team, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Develop new products using piezo and ultrasound sensing technology for a wide range of applications
  • Test and validate new and existing products to ensure they meet customer and market specifications and needs
  • Work with a diverse team in a dynamic manufacturing environment

What your background should look like:
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited University or College for the duration of the Internship
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree Program, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • Computer coding skills (MATLAB, Python, C++, etc.) are preferred
  • Experience in data analysis and statistics is preferred
  • Developed technical writing skills is preferred
  • CAD experience is preferred for those with a Mechanical Engineering background

This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.

This position will be located at our Hampton, VA office.
