• Learn and use electronic testing and validation tools
• Develop Integration and System test strategies for project and maintenance releases of software solutions.
• Write and execute Integration, Regression, and System test scripts.
• Ensure compliance with validation procedures and standards.
• Develop and execute data quality checks of the production systems.

• BS/MS in computer science, information systems, life sciences, or work equivalent.

• This person must be a flexible, self-motivated team player with a positive attitude.
• The candidate must possess strong communications skills.

• Has good experience in reading and understanding requirements, testing automation, quality assurance and integration methodologies.

• Individual must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and have demonstrated good problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively as a team member and can work with limited or most of the times no supervision on projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• The candidate needs to demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects.
• 2+ Years experience working with computer software in a professional environment
• Proven ability to follow priorities and timelines.

Preferred:

• Experience in pharmaceutical R&D, clinical development and/or healthcare IT.

• 2+ Years Experience working with formal Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies or Covance quality processes
• 1+ Years experience in analyzing requirements and designing and executing test strategies.
• 1+ years experience developing test strategies
• SQL development experience is a plus
